Renter pays for all fuel used during the rental period and has the responsibility to return the PWC’s fully refueled with premium fuel (also the fuel used out of the extra fuel containers located on the PWC trailer, if applicable). As a reference for planning, the cost to fully refuel the PWC’s that are near empty is approximately $90 in total (16 gallons for the GTI 170 and 8 gallons for the Spark Trixx).
Please see Security Deposit section below as well as the Operational Tips page for important information about potential damage and how to avoid.
Both the GTI 170 and Spark Trixx are ridden by the Jetcraft Water Adventures owner before each rental period to ensure operational readiness and proper performance. A detailed maintenance inspection is also performed at this time.
Note: These two Sea-Doo’s are the extent of our fleet at this time. Hope to add more PWC’s in the near future 😀

🔒 Security Deposit
A $300 security deposit is required prior to taking possession of the rental watercraft. This deposit can be made via Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, Credit Card, or Cash
If the watercraft are returned undamaged and fully refueled (with premium fuel), the balance of the total rental cost is to be paid and the $300 security deposit will be factored into that calculation (for example, rental for 1 day is $390, a $300 deposit is made, the PWC’s are returned fully refueled with no damage, remaining balance to pay is $90). If watercraft are not fully refueled, appropriate fuel cost will be added to the total rental cost calculation (using current average $/gallon rate in area for premium fuel)
If there has been some unfortunate damage during the rental period, a cost estimate for repairs/replacement part(s) will be provided to the rental customer within one week of the rental return date for eventual negotiation/resolution.
Must be ages 18 or older to rent the PWC’s. Operation by those under 16 years of age should be under adult supervision.
One of best ways to avoid damage to the PWC’s are to not start the engine in too shallow of water. The suction on the underside of the watercraft into the jet pump system is very strong. The PWC’s should be in at least 3 - 4 feet of water before starting (mid-thigh to waist level). Likewise, when heading into the shoreline or a dock, the engine should be shut off while in 3 - 4 feet of water and let the slight momentum float you the remaining distance to disembark. The cost to repair/replace the damage to the impeller and wear ring caused by rocks being pulled into the jet pump can be anywhere in the $400 - $600 range to the rental customer. This can also leave the operator stranded if damaged at a distant location from the dock and ruin a great day of fun.
Below are a few images of recent jet pump impeller and wear ring damage. The wear ring is the blue plastic sleeve made of Delrin.
